According to a May 31 report from IT Home, DJI is preparing to enter the competitive 360-degree camera market with the upcoming launch of the Osmo 360 panoramic camera. The source of this leak, @Independent Photographers Union, shared the first real-world spy shots of the device, showcasing a sleek design that positions it as a direct challenger to the likes of Insta360 and GoPro MAX 360.
The DJI Osmo 360 is expected to officially debut in July and will feature a magnetic base and dual-lens layout reminiscent of the Shadowstone sports camera. The Osmo 360 will reportedly support 5.7K resolution video capture in full 360 degrees, offering a powerful solution for immersive content creation. In addition to high-resolution recording, the camera is said to include electronic image stabilization and a waterproof case, making it suitable for outdoor and action scenarios.
As for imaging hardware, sources suggest the Osmo 360 may sport a 1-inch sensor—although this specification has yet to be finalized.
