LG has officially launched its new xbomm Buds series globally, which includes the xbomm Buds, xbomm Buds Plus, and xbomm Buds Lite. These were first showcased at CES 2025, and now they are rolling out worldwide with a unique audio tuning collaboration from will.i.am.

The LG xboom Buds feature a hook design for secure in-ear fit, graphene drivers for richer audio, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) powered by a triple-microphone setup. They also support LE Audio Auracast, multi-device connectivity, and deliver up to 30 hours of playback (7.5 hours from earbuds alone, 24 hours with ANC enabled). With an IPX4 rating, they are built for active users.
The LG xboom Buds Plus enhance sound with adaptive EQ, which automatically adjusts audio profiles in real time. They include the same triple-microphone ANC system but add UVnano technology to sanitize ear tips and mesh. Another highlight is Plug & Wireless, turning the earbuds into a Bluetooth transmitter for devices like airplane entertainment systems.
The LG xboom Buds Lite target budget-conscious users with endurance in mind. They offer up to 35 hours of playback (11.5 hours on earbuds alone) and an ergonomic lightweight design. Like the other models, they use graphene drivers and integrate with the LG xboom Buds app (available on Android, iOS, and Windows), which provides EQ presets, noise control options, and fit optimization.
Pricing & Availability: The LG xboom Buds Lite are priced at 99,000 KRW (~$71), while the xbomm Buds and xbomm Buds Plus cost 100,000 KRW (~$72) and 199,000 KRW (~$143), respectively. The series is rolling out globally this month, with the standard xbomm Buds already available via LG’s official website. You can explore more LG updates here.
