OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max Retail Box Leaks, Expected to Debut with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC

The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus appears to be gearing up for the launch of a new device in its Ace lineup — the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max. Following the debut of the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 in China last month, a new leak has revealed the retail box of the upcoming model, hinting that its launch could be just around the corner.

According to details shared by tipster @ZionsAnvin, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max may be the first smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Earlier in September 2025, OnePlus had announced plans to launch the world’s first device featuring this chipset, though the OnePlus Ace 6 eventually debuted with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Now, it seems the Ace 6 Pro Max could finally deliver on that promise.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, offering an ultra-smooth and immersive visual experience. Powering the device could be a massive 8,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging, while it is said to run on ColorOS 16 out of the box.

On the camera front, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max is rumored to sport a dual rear setup comprising a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, it may come with a 32MP selfie shooter for high-quality images and video calls. The device is also expected to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, NFC support, and weigh around 216 grams.

The handset is said to arrive in multiple color options — Fresh Black, Electric Purple, Shadow Green, and a special customized edition. Interestingly, reports suggest that the Indian version of the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max is already under development and could be released in the Indian market as the OnePlus 15R. However, official confirmation regarding this rebranding is still awaited.
