The Tecno Spark series is a line of phones made for people who want a good phone at a low price. These phones usually have big screens, nice designs, and long battery life. They are great for everyday use like watching videos, playing simple games, and chatting with friends. Over time, Tecno has made the Spark phones better with improved cameras and faster performance. Now, with the new Spark 50 5G, the company is trying to make the series even more exciting and powerful.

I have been using the Tecno Spark 50 5G for a few days, and here is my quick review based on real-life usage and experience.

Packaging and Box Contents

The Tecno Spark 50 5G comes in a bright blue box that looks clean and eye-catching. The box clearly shows the phone name and some key features, which makes it feel exciting when you open it.

Inside the box, you get everything you need to start using the phone. There is the phone itself, a protective back cover, a 45W fast charger, and a charging cable. Tecno also gives a user manual and a warranty card.

It is nice to see that a fast charger and case are included in the box, so you don’t need to buy extra things

Design

The Tecno Spark 50 5G looks very clean and simple. The back of the phone feels smooth and has a nice gold color which marketed as Champagne Gold , which looks very neat in the hand. It is not too shiny, so it looks calm and classy. The camera design is the most fun part. It has a long shape at the top with a big round camera on one side. This makes the phone look different from other phones and easy to notice and you know the from where the Inspiration come from.

Camera

The Tecno Spark 50 5G has a 50MP rear camera, and it takes clear and bright photos in good light. The pictures look nice with good colors, so it is fun to click photos outside or during the day. It also has a single flash, which helps when taking photos at night, but the photos are just okay in low light.

The camera design also looks cool and different, which makes the phone stand out.

On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera. It is good for selfies and video calls. The front flash is helpful in dark places, so your face looks brighter.

Overall, the cameras are simple and good for daily photos, but not for very high-level photography.

Software and Performance

The Tecno Spark 50 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 5G+ processor. This means the phone feels fast for everyday things like opening apps, watching videos, and using social media.

The Tecno Spark 50 5G gives a Geekbench score of around 816 in single-core and 2061 in multi-core, which is quite normal for a budget 5G phone.

In my use, the phone worked smoothly most of the time. Apps opened quickly, and basic games also ran nicely without much lag. It is good for normal daily use, but not made for very heavy gaming.

The phone also runs on Android 16, which feels new and easy to use. The system looks clean and works well for daily tasks.

Note: The AnTuTu benchmark could not be tested as the app is currently crashing. This issue has been reported to the team and is expected to be fixed in a future OTA update. Feedback has already been shared.

Display

The Tecno Spark 50 5G has a big 6.78-inch display, which feels nice for watching videos and scrolling. The screen is large, so everything looks bigger and easy to see. It also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling very smooth. When you move through apps or social media, it feels fast and nice.

The display is HD (720 × 1576), so the quality is okay for daily use. Videos and pictures look good, but not super sharp like higher-end phones.

Overall, the display is big and smooth, which makes it fun to use every day.

Pricing and Availability

The Tecno Spark 50 5G is priced at ₹16,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB option is available at ₹18,999 via Flipkart, Amazon and offline partners

Buyers can also avail of no-cost EMI options for up to 8 months, making the purchase more convenient.

The first sale is set to begin on April 3 at 12 PM

Final Verdict

The Tecno Spark 50 5G is a solid choice for users who want a stylish, affordable 5G smartphone for everyday use. It focuses on the basics and delivers a smooth experience where it matters most.

Where it could improve:

  • HD+ resolution feels average on such a big screen
  • Low-light camera performance is just okay
  • Not ideal for heavy gaming or power users
  • Software needs Improvements, App Crashes sometimes

Overall Verdict:
If your usage is mainly social media, video watching, calling, and light gaming, the Spark 50 5G is a reliable and value-for-money option. It is not trying to be a performance beast, but it gets the job done smoothly for regular users.

Note: This review is based on 7 days of usage and should not be considered final. I will continue testing the device, and results may change over time. Gaming performance and long-term build quality are still yet to be fully tested.
