Samsung’s Galaxy Tab lineup has been evolving fast, and after the launch of the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, all eyes are now on what comes next. Interestingly, Samsung skipped the “Plus” variant in the S11 generation, leaving a noticeable gap between the compact 11-inch model and the massive Ultra. That gap is exactly where the Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to step in.

Samsung’s next flagship tablet lineup is already taking shape, and the Galaxy Tab S12+ has now made its first early appearance on the IMEI database, strongly hinting at an upcoming launch. The listing confirms Samsung is actively testing a new Plus-branded tablet, SM-X846B for the model number, but the naming itself is a big development.

This sighting is particularly interesting because Samsung skipped the Plus variant in the Galaxy Tab S11 series, offering only the Galaxy Tab S11 and the larger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The reappearance of a “Plus” model suggests Samsung is rethinking its tablet strategy and responding to user demand for a mid-sized flagship option.

Samsung has not officially acknowledged the Galaxy Tab S12+ or revealed its launch timeline. However, an IMEI database appearance is often one of the earliest concrete signs that a device is heading toward an official announcement. If Samsung follows its usual pattern, the Galaxy Tab S12 series could debut sometime in 2026.

More details, including the exact model number, specifications, and launch schedule, are expected to surface in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
