Realme has officially confirmed the launch of the Realme GT 8 Pro in India, making it the country’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This follows Realme’s tradition of debuting flagship devices in India shortly after their Chinese launches, as seen with the Realme GT 7 Pro previously.

The company has revealed that the GT 8 Pro has already achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 4,000,000, highlighting its high-performance capabilities. While the teaser marks Realme’s first official hint of the device in India, it does not yet specify an exact launch date. In China, the GT 8 Pro is confirmed to launch next month, though the precise date remains unannounced.
Key features teased for the Realme GT 8 Pro include the industry’s first e-sports independent graphics R1 chip, symmetrical dual speakers, a 200MP periscope telephoto rear camera, and a 2K flat display. Online leaks have also showcased the rear camera module and the full rear panel design, hinting at Realme’s focus on both performance and photography.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has suggested that the Realme GT 8 Pro could launch in India in November 2025. There are also indications that Realme may collaborate with Ricoh for enhanced optical and image-processing technologies on this model.
The official launch date for the Realme GT 8 Series in China is expected to be announced in the coming days, which will likely clarify the timeline for India as well.
