OnePlus has begun rolling out a new software update for the Nord CE 5 in India. The update, identified as OxygenOS 15.0.2.601 with build number CPH2717_15.0.2.601(EX01), is being released in batches, with a wider rollout expected soon.

What’s New in the Update?
- Smoother Animations: Enhanced visual experience when tapping Live Alerts or notifications on the lock screen.
- Map Album: A new gallery feature that displays all photos with location tags directly on a map.
- Photo Management: Photos moved out of the Private album will now return to their original folders for easier access.
- Privacy Enhancements: Users can now change their privacy password from any secondary page of Private Safe as well as in the Locked album of Photos.
- App Management: The Phone Manager app now displays daily and weekly screen time usage.
- IR Remote Improvements: A redesigned layout for the remote control panel buttons in the IR Remote app.
- Security: September 2025 Android security patch applied for enhanced protection.
Availability: The update is being rolled out incrementally, with a limited number of Nord CE 5 users in India receiving it initially. A wider release will follow after stability is confirmed. Users can check manually by navigating to Settings > System > System Updates.
