Samsung has officially unveiled One UI 8, its latest Android skin based on Android 16, promising a more personalized, intuitive, and secure mobile experience. The update will debut this summer on Samsung’s newest foldables and gradually expand to other Galaxy devices, ushering in a fresh phase of AI-powered mobile enhancements.
Just a day after the announcement, Samsung launched the One UI 8 beta program in Korea, and it’s now also available in Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Currently, the beta supports the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
What’s New in One UI 8?
AI-Powered Personalization
At the core of One UI 8 lies Samsung’s latest AI engine, initially introduced with the Galaxy S25 lineup. Key features are built on multimodal AI capabilities and a refined user experience (UX). The update delivers context-aware suggestions tailored to users’ routines through features like Now Bar and Now Brief, offering real-time, proactive insights and assistance.
