Following the launches of the Realme GT 8 Pro and iQOO 15, OnePlus India has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will also arrive in the Indian market. The announcement was made via OnePlus India’s official X account, confirming that the upcoming flagship will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The post did not reveal a specific launch date for India, though the OnePlus 15 is expected to debut in China next month. Considering past patterns, the device could launch globally, including India, in November or December 2025. The OnePlus 13 was introduced in India in January this year, so a late-year release for the 15 is consistent with the company’s timeline.

Marketing posters released on Weibo confirm several key specifications for the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 15. These include a 165Hz refresh rate display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and Windspeed Gaming Core technology for enhanced gaming performance. Leaked design renders show a resemblance to the OnePlus 13T and 13S. Additionally, the device’s Geekbench listing confirms Android 16 out of the box and a 16GB RAM variant, while the 3C certification reveals 120W fast wired charging support.

OnePlus has also ended its collaboration with Hasselblad and introduced its proprietary DetailMax Engine for the camera system, which is expected to debut on the OnePlus 15.

With multiple smartphones launching soon, October is shaping up to be “Techtober,” featuring devices powered by either the Dimensity 9500 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets.
