Sony has officially launched the Xperia 10 VII, its latest mid-range smartphone, following weeks of consistent leaks. The new model brings a fresh design with a Pixel-like camera module, a powerful 50-megapixel main camera, and a smooth 120Hz OLED display, making it one of the most compelling options in its lineup so far.

The Xperia 10 VII features a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD cards up to 2TB. Keeping it alive is a robust 5,000mAh battery, promising up to two days of use along with PD fast charging support.

On the imaging front, the phone introduces a triple rear camera system. The highlight is a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor that also doubles as a 2x optical zoom lens. This is paired with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while an 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies. Out of the box, the Xperia 10 VII runs Android 15 and is guaranteed to receive up to four major OS updates and six years of security patches, ensuring long-term reliability.

Additional highlights include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo front-facing speakers with a full enclosure design, and the much-loved 3.5mm headphone jack. For durability, the device is equipped with IPX5/IPX8 water resistance and IP6X dust protection. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C.

Available in White, Turquoise, and Charcoal Black colorways, the Xperia 10 VII is priced at approximately €449 (~$525). While global availability details remain unclear, the phone is expected to launch in select regions soon.
