Apple’s next-generation iPad Pro, powered by the new M5 chipset, has been spotted on the Geekbench database, adding weight to rumors of an imminent October launch. While the company has yet to make an official announcement, two leaked unboxing videos from Russian YouTubers have revealed significant details about the device.

Geekbench Details: The listing shows the Apple M5 iPad Pro achieving a single-core score of 4,133 and a multi-core score of 15,437. On the GPU side, the Metal score reached 74,568. The M5 processor features a 3+6 core configuration clocked at 4.42GHz. The benchmarked model was running iOS 26.0 with 12GB of RAM. Additionally, the tablet posted an impressive AnTuTu score of 3,137,936.
Unboxing Insights:
- YouTuber Wylsacom revealed a Wi-Fi-only 256GB variant of the iPad Pro, featuring a 13-inch display. The box includes the device, a manual, a matching cable, and a USB-C power adapter. The design closely resembles the M4 iPad Pro.
- YouTuber Romancev768 unboxed the 512GB model, confirming the presence of a USB-C port. Interestingly, a second sensor was visible on the front (top in portrait mode), hinting at possible dual front-facing cameras, although its purpose remains unclear.

Design-wise, the M5 iPad Pro retains Apple’s premium build while introducing performance leaps with the M5 SoC. The potential addition of two front-facing cameras could also enhance video calls and Face ID functionality.
While Apple has yet to confirm an official release date, the leaks suggest that the M5 iPad Pro may be announced later this month, aligning with the company’s usual product refresh timeline.

Who knew a slight score bump and whispers of extra front-facing lenses could cause this much buzz? All I see is an iPad Pro looking kinda sweaty in a box, and my wallet doing the Macarena. The M5 sounds fancy, but is it worth the splurge for mere milliseconds? Those unboxing videos are more intriguing than the specs themselves – guessing the purpose of a mystery sensor is *peak* entertainment. Face ID with two cameras? Does that mean it can finally tell when Im pretending to work? Either way, Apples got us hooked on leaks until the official reveal. Cant wait to see if this M5 Pro is worth the wait, or just another tech toy for geeks like me to salivate over!molded products
