Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2600 chipset has been spotted once again on the Geekbench database, showcasing a remarkable improvement in performance compared to its previous listings. This highly anticipated chipset is expected to debut with the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in early 2026 and could give strong competition to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Apple’s A19 Pro chips.

The first appearance of the Exynos 2600 on Geekbench took place in July 2025, recording a single-core score of 2155 and a multi-core score of 7788. Later, in August, an improved version surfaced with better core optimization and higher performance metrics.

Now, in its third Geekbench listing, the Exynos 2600 has achieved an impressive 3455 single-core and 11621 multi-core score. The listing reveals that the chipset integrates the Samsung Xclipse 960 GPU and runs with 12GB of RAM on Android 16.

Built on Samsung’s 2nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) process under Samsung Foundry, the Exynos 2600 represents a major leap in semiconductor technology. Korean media reports claim that this chip delivers over 6x stronger NPU performance than Apple’s A19 Pro, along with 14% higher multi-core CPU and 75% higher GPU performance. Compared to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Exynos 2600 reportedly offers up to 30% higher NPU and 29% stronger GPU output.

These benchmark improvements indicate that Samsung is optimizing the Exynos 2600 for efficient multitasking, gaming, and AI-based workloads. The combination of performance and power efficiency could make the Galaxy S26 lineup one of Samsung’s strongest flagship series to date.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to debut in early 2026, with Exynos 2600 models launching in select regions, while Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variants will target global markets. This hybrid chipset approach continues Samsung’s global distribution strategy.
