Xiaomi’s much-anticipated Xiaomi 17 series is almost here, and the company is ramping up excitement ahead of the official September 25 launch. The lineup includes the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, marking an earlier release compared to last year’s Xiaomi 15 series, which arrived in late October. This earlier launch signals Xiaomi’s intent to secure an edge in the crowded flagship season.
In the latest teaser campaign, Xiaomi released high-resolution promotional images of the entire lineup, showcasing the refreshed designs. Adding to the buzz, a company executive shared a short hands-on video that revealed twelve units placed side by side, giving fans the most comprehensive look yet at the available color options.
From the footage, the standard Xiaomi 17 is expected to debut in four color finishes, while both the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will come in three colors each. Although the official names of these shades haven’t been announced, Xiaomi is known for mixing timeless finishes with striking limited-edition variants, so we may see some surprises post-launch as well.
While the designs and color options are now clearer, Xiaomi has yet to confirm its global rollout strategy. It remains uncertain whether all three models will make it to international markets, or if Xiaomi will stagger availability across regions. Regardless, with the launch date fast approaching, fans now have a vivid preview of what’s coming, and it’s clear that Xiaomi is focusing heavily on both aesthetics and performance for its 2025 flagship series.
