Vivo is preparing to introduce its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Vivo Y21d, in Nigeria. Ahead of its official release, key details including specifications, storage options, and pricing have been revealed, highlighting the device’s focus on durability and long-lasting battery life.

The Vivo Y21d comes with an impressive IP68 and IP69+ rating, ensuring strong resistance against dust and water. It supports wet hand touch functionality as well as underwater photo and video capture. On top of this, Vivo has added an anti-drop design to minimize damage from accidental falls, making it a tough contender in the entry-level segment.
Powering the device is a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, paired with 44W FlashCharge support, offering extended usage and faster charging. Under the hood, it is equipped with a Unisoc T7200 chipset, ARM Mali G57 GPU, and runs Android 15 out of the box. The device also features a HD+ display with 720 x 1608 pixel resolution and 300 DPI density, as listed on the Google Play Console database.
In terms of storage, the Y21d will be available in three options: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB. The pricing for Nigeria is revealed as NGN 199,800, NGN 219,800, and NGN 239,800 respectively. The smartphone will be offered in Purple and Green color choices.
Additionally, its listing on the SDPPI certification platform confirms the Vivo Y21d will also expand to the Indonesian market. With a strong focus on durability, battery life, and affordability, the Y21d is shaping up to be an attractive option for budget-conscious users in Nigeria.
