Samsung has officially announced its upcoming “Caring for the World” launch event, scheduled for October 11, 2025, at 16:00 local time in China. According to the teaser poster, the highlight of the event will be the unveiling of a new foldable smartphone, widely expected to be the Samsung W26.

The Samsung W26 has already cleared China’s compulsory product certification (3C certification), confirming support for 25W fast charging. The device will ship with the EP-TA800 power adapter, although some retail units may exclude it. Notably, the certification listing also reveals support for satellite communications, further enhancing its positioning as a premium business-focused smartphone.

The W26 continues Samsung’s exclusive “Heart of the World” series, which is aimed at high-end business users in China. Based on previous launches, the W26 is expected to share its hardware foundation with the Galaxy Z Fold7, offering a large foldable display, flagship-grade performance, and luxury craftsmanship.

Key Details Known So Far:

  • Model number: SM-W9026 (successor to W25’s SM-W9025)
  • 25W fast charging with EP-TA800 adapter
  • Satellite communication support
  • Business-focused design under the “Heart of the World” branding
  • Likely based on the Galaxy Z Fold7 architecture

For context, the Samsung W25, launched last year, started at 13,999 yuan for the base model, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB configuration was priced at 16,249 yuan. Similar premium pricing is expected for the W26.

As Samsung prepares for its October 11 event, all eyes are on whether the Samsung W26 foldable will bring exclusive features beyond its global Fold7 counterpart, further cementing its reputation as a luxury foldable designed for professionals and business elites.
