Samsung appears to be preparing its next flagship generation, and the Galaxy S27 series has now taken an early step toward launch. The Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Plus have reportedly received 3C certification in China, giving us an early look at their charging capabilities.
According to the certification, the Galaxy S27, carrying model number SM-S9520, will support up to 27W wired charging. The larger Galaxy S27 Plus, listed as SM-S9560, is expected to offer faster 45W charging.
While these charging speeds are useful, Samsung may once again disappoint some users by not including a charger in the retail box. Buyers are expected to purchase a compatible charging adapter separately if they do not already own one.

The 27W charging on the standard Galaxy S27 could feel modest compared with some competing flagship smartphones, while the 45W support on the Plus model should offer a better charging experience.
Samsung is expected to reveal more information about the Galaxy S27 series closer to its official launch. Until then, these certification details should be treated as an early indication rather than final specifications.
For now, the biggest takeaway is simple: Galaxy S27 buyers may get 27W charging, Galaxy S27 Plus users could get 45W, and neither phone is expected to come with a charger in the box.
