OnePlus is preparing for a major smartphone launch cycle in China next month. According to recent leaks, the company will unveil the OnePlus Ace 6 and OnePlus 15 in October, followed by the launch of a Turbo-branded device later this year. All these phones will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 series chipsets, making them some of the first devices to debut with next-generation processors.

The OnePlus 15 is rumored to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite 2) with model number SM8850. This new flagship chip is expected to bring enhanced performance and efficiency over the current Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, putting the OnePlus 15 directly against other premium flagships of 2025.
The OnePlus Ace 6, on the other hand, will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (SM8845). According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the same chipset is also likely to power other upcoming Chinese flagships such as the Redmi K90, Honor GT 2, and a Realme Neo series device, showing how it will become a key player in the upper flagship segment.
Alongside these, OnePlus is also expected to introduce a Turbo-branded smartphone before the end of the year. Reports suggest that this device could be powered by the SM8735 Pro chipset, which is believed to be an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735). When it launches, it may carry the marketing name Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Plus or Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Pro, further expanding Qualcomm’s portfolio of high-performance chips.
With three major smartphones in the pipeline featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Pro, OnePlus is clearly positioning itself to compete aggressively in the premium and upper-midrange markets. More details on the devices, including pricing and global launch timelines, are expected to surface as the official launch date approaches in October.
