Motorola is already gearing up its smartphone lineup for 2026. Earlier, a device codenamed “ORLANDO” surfaced, which is speculated to be part of the upcoming Moto Stylus 2026 series. More recently, another model with the codename “AVENGER” was spotted — and now, a new leak has revealed the first hint about Motorola’s next offering.
The newly discovered handset, carrying the codename “AVENGER PLUS 2026” and model number XT2605-5, is believed to belong to the next-generation Motorola Edge 70 series, suggesting that the company is preparing to expand its flagship lineup once again.

To Recall, The Edge 70 stands out with its ultra-slim and lightweight design, measuring just 6mm thick and weighing 159g, while also boasting IP68 and IP69-rated protection for durability. It features a stunning 6.7-inch P-OLED HDR10+ display that delivers up to 4500 nits of peak brightness for exceptional outdoor visibility.
Under the hood, the device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset built on a power-efficient 4nm architecture, ensuring smooth performance. The Edge 70 sports dual 50MP cameras with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording capabilities, promising detailed and stable shots.
Powering the setup is a 4800mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Users also get immersive Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and Motorola’s Smart Connect feature for seamless device integration.
The Motorola Edge 70 ships with Android 16 out of the box and is promised to receive up to three major Android OS upgrades.
