Lava is preparing to introduce its next flagship smartphone in India, the Lava Agni 4. Following the initial teaser last month, the brand has now released fresh visuals highlighting the design of the upcoming device. Alongside this, a new Lava battery featuring a 7000mAh capacity has received certification, signaling a long-lasting power boost for the smartphone.
The latest design teasers showcase a modern boxy build with rounded corners, complemented by a flat metal mid-frame. The rear design follows a clean, symmetrical approach. A pill-shaped camera island sits horizontally at the top, housing two camera sensors placed at opposite ends, along with a dual-tone LED flash and additional LED strips. The device features antenna lines along the edges, suggesting a premium metal frame. Physical buttons, including the power key and volume controls, are positioned on the right, while the top appears to house an IR blaster and an additional microphone.
Based on early insights, the Lava Agni 4 is expected to carry a strong focus on photography, continuing the brand’s approach with recent models. Rumored specifications suggest that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, offer UFS 4.0 storage for faster app performance, and feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The dual camera setup may include dual 50MP sensors, with the device likely offering enhanced low-light and portrait capabilities.
Battery life is set to be a major highlight. A new Lava battery with a 7000mAh rated capacity (7050mAh typical) and model number LBP1071A has been certified, and it is widely expected to power the Agni 4. This large battery would give the phone a competitive edge in the mid-range segment, especially for users who prioritize long backup for gaming, travel, or multimedia usage.
The Lava Agni 4 is scheduled for launch in November 2025 and is expected to debut under the INR 25,000 price range in India, making it a strong contender in the upper mid-range smartphone market.
