The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 is gearing up for its official debut on September 19 in Paris, but ahead of the event, the first official-looking renders have surfaced online. The leak, shared by WinFuture, suggests Huawei is refining rather than radically redesigning its flagship smartwatch, while introducing meaningful hardware upgrades.

According to the report, the Watch Ultimate 2 retains the same 48.5mm case size as its predecessor, maintaining its bold wrist presence. However, the real improvements seem to lie inside. Huawei is expected to introduce a silicon battery—already seen in the Watch GT 6 series—that promises longer runtimes. In the GT 6 lineup, this technology delivered up to 21 days of battery life in power-saving mode, and similar performance is expected here.
The leaked images also point to new hardware additions on the right side of the case, where a fresh set of sensors has been spotted. While their exact function remains unclear, they resemble the X-Tap control setup Huawei has used in past devices, hinting at expanded control or health tracking capabilities.
Style-wise, the renders show two striking color variants: an all-black edition and a dual-tone blue option. Both maintain the rugged, premium aesthetic associated with the Ultimate series, with a large AMOLED display likely making its return as the centerpiece.
As for pricing, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 won’t come cheap. It is rumored to retail around €899 (approximately $1,055). Alongside the Watch Ultimate 2, Huawei is also expected to showcase the Watch GT 6 lineup during the Paris event.
With its combination of durability, upgraded battery technology, and possible new sensor functionality, the Watch Ultimate 2 could be one of Huawei’s most advanced wearables yet.
