Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated X300 flagship series. The event is scheduled for October 13 at 7PM (China time), where the company will unveil its next-generation imaging-focused smartphones. True to tradition, Vivo is branding the X300 series as its annual “imaging flagship,” with design and camera innovations at the forefront.

On the design front, Vivo is introducing a fresh aesthetic with a minimalist circular camera module and what it describes as a “suspended water droplet” paired with cold-sculpted glass. This combination is aimed at giving the series a premium and futuristic look.

The highlight of the lineup lies in its imaging hardware. The standard X300 will feature a massive 200MP Zeiss super primary camera, while the X300 Pro raises the bar further with an 85mm Zeiss 200MP APO super telephoto lens. Both models are equipped with advanced optical image stabilization, rated at CIPA 4.5-level and CIPA 5.5-level respectively, ensuring stability even in challenging shooting conditions. The cameras also benefit from Zeiss T* coating and deep-blue absorption glass, features that previously debuted on the X200 Ultra.

When it comes to video, the X300 Pro will support the world’s first 4K 60fps portrait video. Additional video modes include dual-focus 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR and 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording, cementing its place as one of the most advanced mobile video solutions available.

Powering the X300 series is MediaTek’s brand-new Dimensity 9500 processor, making its debut inside these devices. Complementing it is Vivo’s Blueprint V3+ imaging chip, OriginOS 6, cross-device connectivity with the Apple ecosystem, and a BOE Q10 Plus display capable of reaching as low as 1 nit brightness. The phones will also integrate dual UFS 4.1 storage lanes, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor 2.0, and Sony’s latest LYT828 and LYT602 sensors, according to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station.

In addition to the X300 smartphones, Vivo will also announce the Watch GT 2, TWS 5 earbuds, and the new Vivo Pad 5e during the same launch event, making it a packed product showcase.
