Apple has officially opened pre-orders for the next-generation iPhone 17 series across 63 countries, including major markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, and Vietnam. According to details listed on Apple’s online stores, deliveries are expected to begin on September 19, which is also the official release date announced by the company.

However, the iPhone 17 Pro Max has witnessed overwhelming demand in the United States. Apple’s website now shows a delivery estimate of three to four weeks, with the earliest shipments likely arriving in early October. A closer look across all storage and color options reveals that delays apply universally, meaning customers are unlikely to find a specific configuration available for launch-day delivery on September 19. That said, limited in-store pickup slots may still be available for the launch date. It’s also worth noting that this situation reflects Apple’s official stores only, as carrier partners and authorized retailers may continue to hold some stock.

Apple has confirmed that all iPhone 17 series devices start with a baseline storage of 256GB. The pricing structure varies by model, with the iPhone 17 starting at $799 (approx. HK$6,222), the iPhone Air at $999 (approx. HK$7,779), the iPhone 17 Pro at $1,099 (approx. HK$8,571), and the iPhone 17 Pro Max at $1,199 (approx. HK$9,333). Due to certain regulatory challenges, the iPhone Air’s launch in China has been slightly delayed compared to other markets.

With strong global interest and early signs of stock shortages, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is shaping up to be one of the most in-demand iPhones in recent years. Customers hoping to secure Apple’s flagship may need to act quickly or prepare for extended wait times.
