The upcoming Ai+ Nova 2 series has now been publicly showcased, giving us an early glimpse of what the brand is preparing for its next smartphone lineup. The devices were recently spotted at Jio World Garden, Mumbai, where multiple units of the Nova 2 Ultra were displayed in eye-catching color options including purple, red, and blue.

While the brand has not officially revealed the specifications yet, the showcase strongly hints that the Nova 2 lineup is nearing launch. The design and presentation suggest that Ai+ is focusing heavily on aesthetics and visual identity this time.

Talking about the design, the Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra stands out with a glossy rear finish and a prominent circular lighting element on the back panel. This design language appears to be a continuation and refinement of the brand’s previous experiments with lighting aesthetics, but now looks more polished and integrated. The dual camera module is positioned vertically, maintaining a clean and minimal layout while still giving the phone a modern appeal.

The color variants showcased especially the deep red and vibrant purple add a premium and youthful vibe to the device. Compared to the previous generation, the Nova 2 series appears more refined, with better symmetry and a more cohesive design approach rather than experimental styling.

Looking back at the earlier generation, Ai+ devices focused more on introducing unique lighting elements and bold finishes, but the overall execution felt slightly unbalanced. With the Nova 2 series, the brand seems to have matured its design philosophy by blending aesthetics with usability, making the device look both stylish and practical.

In comparison, the recently launched Ai+ Pulse 2 leaned more towards affordability and functional design, targeting users who prioritize value over premium looks. The Nova 2 Ultra, on the other hand, clearly aims to position itself as a more premium offering with enhanced visual appeal and possibly upgraded internals.

Although specifications remain under wraps, expectations are that the Nova 2 Ultra could feature improved performance, enhanced camera capabilities, and software optimizations over its predecessor. Given the Ultra branding, the device is also likely to bring some flagship-level features to the segment.

With the public showcase already done, an official announcement could be just around the corner. More details regarding pricing, specifications, and availability are expected to surface soon.
