Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Beta Testing Expands to Over 80 Smartphones

Xiaomi has expanded its HyperOS 3 beta testing program to cover more than 80 devices, preparing for a wide rollout of its Android 16-based custom skin. The update will bring new visual refinements, UI upgrades, and advanced features across Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones and tablets.

Eligible Xiaomi devices for HyperOS 3 beta testing include flagship models like the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, 14 Ultra, 15 series, and the upcoming 15T series. Popular Redmi models such as the Redmi Note 15 Pro, Redmi K70 Ultra, and entry-level devices like Redmi 13X are also included. POCO smartphones like the POCO F7 Pro, POCO M7 Plus, and POCO X6 Pro are part of the beta list as well. Tablets including the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, Pad 7 Ultra, and Redmi Pad SE 8.7 are receiving the update too.

The HyperOS 3 update introduces several notable changes. One of the biggest new features is the Xiaomi Super Island, inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island, which allows small window multitasking with support for up to three active islands simultaneously. The interface also gets new vivid color palettes and a liquid-glass design in the search bar and settings menu, making the overall UI smoother and more visually appealing.

In addition to visual upgrades, HyperOS 3 focuses on ecosystem integration. Xiaomi devices running the update may interact seamlessly with Apple products, enabling Android apps on macOS, unlocking Apple devices via Touch ID, sharing files, and syncing notifications. Privacy and security are emphasized with improved two-factor authentication, better app permission control, and enhanced data protection.

The official global rollout of HyperOS 3 is expected to start with the Xiaomi 15T series on 24th September 2025. While the beta program currently includes a wide range of devices across price points—from entry-level to flagship—the update ensures consistent experience improvements and feature access for all eligible users.
