Rebranding is nothing new in the smartphone industry. Launching the same device with a new name or fresh color options without any changes to the specifications has become a common strategy. Tecno is set to follow this trend with the upcoming Tecno Pop X, which is essentially a rebranded version of the recently launched Tecno Spark Go 3 in terms of hardware and features.

The teaser spotted on Amazon India indicates a March 4 launch date. It also confirms the design and highlights a 120Hz “Super Smooth” display. The overall look closely resembles the Tecno Spark Go 3, reinforcing that the upcoming device shares the same design language.

Tecno Pop X 4G Expected Specifications
The device is likely to feature a large 6.75-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and improved visual fluidity. Powering the smartphone could be the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor, paired with around 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, with support for microSD expansion.
In terms of cameras, the Pop X 4G is expected to include a 13MP AI rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W wired fast charging, ensuring reliable all-day usage. Durability features such as IP64 dust and splash resistance and drop protection up to about 1.2 meters are also anticipated, aligning with its Spark Go 3 origins.
Connectivity options should include dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C, and an infrared sensor that allows the phone to function as a remote control. Overall, the Tecno Pop X 4G is shaping up to be an affordable budget smartphone focused on smooth display performance, practical features, and everyday reliability, rather than major hardware upgrades.
