The Realme GT 8 Pro is inching closer to its October launch in China, and fresh leaks have now provided a clearer look at its design and performance. While Realme has already teased that the GT 8 Pro will deliver flagship-grade performance comparable to Ultra models from rival brands, new renders and benchmark results have surfaced to build anticipation further.

Tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared an image on Weibo that reveals the complete back panel of the GT 8 Pro. The highlight is its redesigned camera module, which merges two circular lenses with a square-shaped periscope telephoto unit, creating a bold, standout look. This design was earlier hinted at through an official teaser and a leaked case render. Reports also suggest that Realme will collaborate with Ricoh to bring its “Negative Film” color mode and humanistic photography style to the device.

In terms of optics, the GT 8 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, an ultra-wide sensor, and a powerful 200MP periscope telephoto lens. On the front, it could sport a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Other leaked hardware highlights include 115E dual master-grade speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance.

Alongside the design leak, a device with the model number RMX5210 appeared on Geekbench AI, strongly believed to be the GT 8 Pro. The listing confirms the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM and Android 16. However, the AI benchmark scores—320 (Single Precision), 342 (Half Precision), and 678 (Quantized)—appear underwhelming for a flagship, likely because they are from an early engineering prototype. Final retail units are expected to deliver optimized performance.

With its unique rear design, Ricoh-inspired photography enhancements, and next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 power, the Realme GT 8 Pro is shaping up as a serious contender in the premium segment. More official details are expected as the launch event approaches in October.
