The Realme 16 5G is set to launch with a starting price of ₹31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, ₹33,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, and ₹36,999 for the top-end 12GB + 256GB version. These prices are being marketed as exclusive of offers, which does not include a ₹3,000 bank discount, customers can also avail up to ₹5,000 exchange bonus, and an ₹8,000 pre-booking gift till 5th April.
However, what stands out is the base pricing itself, which appears significantly inflated for the segment. This indicates a clear price-hike strategy where the actual cost is pushed higher and then balanced out through offers to create a perception of value.
Realme 16 5G Specifications
Talking about the specifications, the Realme 16 5G comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and high peak brightness levels. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
