OPPO has officially launched the Reno14 5G Diwali Edition in India, arriving just ahead of the festive season. This follows the recent introduction of the Mint Green variant, but the Diwali Edition stands out with its industry-first heat-sensitive colour-changing design.
The phone debuts OPPO’s new GlowShift Technology, which transforms the back panel from a rich festive black to a radiant gold tone at body temperature. The company explains that this transformation is enabled through six intricate processes, three layered coatings, and a nine-layer lamination structure. At temperatures below 28℃, the phone remains black; between 29–34℃, it gradually transitions; and above 35℃, it glows in shimmering gold. OPPO claims the effect can last for over 10,000 cycles, ensuring long-term durability.
Priced at ₹39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, the Reno14 5G Diwali Edition is available via retail stores, OPPO’s official e-store, Flipkart, and Amazon. Launch offers include a flat 10% instant discount (up to ₹3,999), up to 6 months of no-cost EMI, and a ₹3,000 exchange bonus.
