As Vivo gears up for the Vivo X300 series launch on October 13 in China, its sub-brand iQOO is making headlines with teasers for the upcoming iQOO 15. The brand’s Product Manager, Galant V, has officially confirmed that the device will feature Samsung’s cutting-edge 2K Everest AMOLED display, while a leaked image circulating on Chinese social media gives an early look at its rear design.

The iQOO 15’s display will measure around 6.85 inches and is based on Samsung’s NB Plus panel, also known as the Everest screen. This panel promises superior transparency by combining high brightness, accurate colors, enhanced contrast, and efficient light transmission while minimizing reflectivity. iQOO claims it will deliver clarity that surpasses most current flagships.

One of the standout aspects of the display is its extreme brightness adaptability, ranging from as low as 1 nit for dim environments to an impressive 6,000 nits for peak outdoor visibility. The screen also integrates AR anti-reflection coating, a feature recently seen on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, making it more competitive in the flagship segment.

Beyond its advanced screen, the iQOO 15 is expected to house the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and the industry’s largest 8K vapor chamber cooling system, ensuring sustained high performance during demanding usage. Positioned as a performance-driven big-screen flagship, iQOO aims to directly challenge Apple’s Pro Max series with this launch.

The leaked image adds further intrigue, showing part of the iQOO 15’s back panel with a white-to-red gradient finish and rounded corners. While not a full reveal, it provides the first glimpse of the design direction iQOO may take for its next powerhouse device.
