[Exclusive] Tecno’s True Bezelless Concept Phone has a Name and here’s the first official render, check specs too

Tecno is taking smartphone design to a new extreme at IFA 2026. The company is showcasing its next-generation True Bezelless Concept Phone, a futuristic device that claims to have a true 0mm display border.

But there is an interesting Bangladesh connection to Tecno’s latest design push. Just days before its IFA showcase, TECNO globally debuted the CAMON Slim 5G in Bangladesh, bringing one of its thinnest smartphones to the market. Now, the company is following that ultra-slim approach with a concept phone that focuses on eliminating the bezels altogether.

The CAMON Slim 5G already shows where TECNO wants to take smartphone design. The phone measures only 6.39mm thick while still packing a 6000mAh battery, 45W charging and a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display.

Its global debut in Bangladesh is particularly interesting because the country is now among the first markets to experience TECNO’s latest ultra-slim smartphone technology.

First look at TECNO’s 0mm bezelless phone

The first look gives us a glimpse of a smartphone that looks almost entirely like a display from the front. The usual black frame around the screen has effectively disappeared, creating a much more futuristic appearance.

The phone in focus is the TECNO CAMON Slim, particularly its eye-catching New Mondrian edition. The design takes inspiration from Mondrian-style artwork, with sunlight-activated color blocks appearing across the rear panel. TECNO itself describes the finish as “Mondrian New.”

The CAMON Slim 5G brings the same 6.39mm ultra-slim design philosophy, but adds 5G connectivity through the MediaTek Dimensity 7300E 5G platform. It also packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W Super Charge and a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display.

The Bangladesh model is priced at Tk 59,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, with pre-booking running from September 1 to September 7.

So Bangladesh is now playing an important role in TECNO’s latest slim-phone strategy: the country gets the global debut of the CAMON Slim 5G, while TECNO is simultaneously showing the world its next-generation 0mm bezelless technology.

For the CAMON Slim 5G sold in Bangladesh, the configuration changes to a Dimensity 7300E 5G chipset, 6,000mAh battery and 45W Super Charge.

TECNO has not officially confirmed that the 0mm concept itself will launch commercially as a Mondrian Edition. For now, the safest description is that the New Mondrian CAMON Slim represents the company’s current ultra-slim design direction, while the IFA device demonstrates where that design could go next.

And honestly, if TECNO can bring the CAMON Slim’s 6.39mm body and Mondrian design together with a true 0mm bezel in a future retail phone, it could be one of the most visually striking TECNO smartphones yet.
