itel has officially announced the new itel A300C 4G, a budget smartphone focused on long battery life, durability, and useful everyday features. The phone packs a large 6000mAh battery, a smooth 90Hz display, military-grade durability, and Android 16 Go Edition.
The A300C is designed for users who want a dependable phone that can last through long hours of daily use. It also includes features such as an infrared remote, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, DTS sound, Dynamic Bar, and UltraLink Free Call.

The biggest highlight is the 6000mAh battery. itel claims the battery can offer up to 50 days of standby time, 46 hours of talk time, 18.75 hours of short-video playback, and up to 9.6 hours of gaming. The phone also supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port.
Durability is another major focus. The itel A300C has been tested under MIL-STD-810H-based conditions, including repeated drop tests and extreme temperature testing. itel says the phone went through 26 repeated drop tests and a 1.8-meter cased drop test.
The device has also been tested for operation at temperatures up to 43°C, low-temperature storage down to -21°C, and high-humidity conditions. While this does not make the phone indestructible, it should provide additional confidence for everyday use.
On the front, the A300C features a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 720 × 1612 pixel resolution. The screen can reach up to 480 nits of typical brightness and offers a claimed 90% screen-to-body ratio.

The phone is powered by the Unisoc T7100 octa-core LTE chipset. Storage options go up to 128GB, while extended RAM technology is available to provide additional memory when needed.
For cameras, the itel A300C comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The setup is aimed at basic photography, video calls, and everyday social media use rather than advanced mobile photography.
Software is handled by Android 16 Go Edition, which is optimized for affordable smartphones with modest hardware. This should help keep the experience lightweight and responsive.
The phone also brings several useful extras. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock provide two options for quickly unlocking the device. The built-in infrared remote can be used to control compatible home appliances.
DTS sound is included for improved audio processing, while the Dynamic Bar provides quick information around the front camera area. UltraLink Free Call is another interesting addition, allowing compatible devices to communicate through a direct Bluetooth connection without depending on cellular service or Wi-Fi.
