TECNO appears to be preparing something new for its CAMON lineup in Bangladesh. After already launching the CAMON Slim 4G, the company is now teasing what looks to be the upcoming CAMON Slim 5G, with a new teaser showing the phone alongside the message “Built Slim” and “Coming Soon.”
The teaser arrives at an interesting time for TECNO Bangladesh. The company has just announced Bangladesh national footballer Hamza Choudhury as its new brand ambassador, and his upcoming campaigns will include TECNO’s CAMON series.
CAMON Slim 5G is coming

TECNO’s latest teaser focuses heavily on the phone’s slim design. The image shows a dark Burgundy Red-style finish, a large vertical camera setup and the CAMON branding on the rear panel. The tagline “Built Slim” makes it clear that the thin design will be one of the phone’s biggest selling points.
This is not simply another teaser for the already launched CAMON Slim 4G. The upcoming model has previously appeared in certification and benchmark databases as model CN6, with support for 5G connectivity. Geekbench listings also point toward a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, 8GB of RAM and Android 16.
What to expect from the CAMON Slim 5G
While TECNO has not officially revealed the complete specifications of the 5G model, leaks and certifications have already given us a few clues.
The Dimensity 7100 is expected to power the smartphone, paired with 8GB RAM. The Geekbench listing showed prototype performance scores of around 1,000 points in single-core testing and close to 3,000 points in multi-core testing. The device was also spotted running Android 16.
Battery information has also surfaced through certification listings. Reports have pointed to a large battery, with one certification leak suggesting a 5,800mAh capacity, while other early reports have mentioned an even larger 7,000mAh figure. Until TECNO officially confirms the capacity, the battery details should be treated as unconfirmed.
The design, however, is already becoming the main attraction. TECNO’s existing CAMON Slim 4G measures only 6.39mm thick and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, showing the direction the company is taking with its slim-phone lineup.
Hamza Choudhury joins TECNO Bangladesh

The CAMON Slim 5G teaser also comes just after TECNO announced Hamza Choudhury as its new brand ambassador in Bangladesh.
Hamza has become one of the most recognisable names in Bangladeshi football, and TECNO says the partnership is built around ambition, determination and its “Stop At Nothing” philosophy. He will feature in upcoming brand and product campaigns, including CAMON Series promotions, as well as football-focused digital content and fan experiences.
That makes the timing of the CAMON Slim 5G teaser particularly interesting. TECNO is bringing together its new football partnership and its slim smartphone lineup at the same time, potentially setting the stage for a larger Bangladesh campaign.
TECNO CAMON Slim 5G: Coming soon
For now, TECNO has not officially announced the CAMON Slim 5G’s Bangladesh launch date, price or complete specifications. The latest teaser simply says “Coming Soon,” but it strongly suggests that an announcement is getting closer.
If TECNO can combine the slim design of the CAMON Slim series with 5G connectivity and the Dimensity 7100 platform, the CAMON Slim 5G could become an interesting option for users who want a stylish and thin smartphone without giving up modern connectivity.
More details about the CAMON Slim 5G are expected soon, and TECNO’s new partnership with Hamza Choudhury could make this one of the brand’s more visible smartphone launches in Bangladesh.
