The GT 8 Pro gains an edge with Crystal Armor Glass protection for enhanced durability, while both maintain a premium aesthetic with slim bezels and a solid build. The GT 8 measures 8.3mm thick and weighs 214 grams, while the GT 8 Pro is slightly slimmer at 8.2mm and weighs 218 grams.

Performance & Hardware: Under the hood, the realme GT 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with the Adreno 830 GPU, while the GT 8 Pro steps up to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC with the Adreno 840 GPU. Both devices include the R1 graphics chip and Sky Signal S1 chip, improving graphics rendering, connectivity, and gaming stability. They come equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 (GT 8) / UFS 4.1 (GT 8 Pro) storage, offering blazing-fast multitasking and app load times.

Camera Capabilities: The GT 8 features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 periscope telephoto sensor. The GT 8 Pro, however, pushes boundaries with a Ricoh GR-enhanced triple camera system that includes a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens with anti-glare coating for exceptional clarity. For selfies, the GT 8 houses a 16MP front camera, while the GT 8 Pro offers a sharper 32MP sensor.

Battery & Charging: Both phones are powered by a massive 7000mAh Titan battery featuring 15% silicon content for longer lifespan and better thermal efficiency. The GT 8 supports 100W wired charging, while the GT 8 Pro upgrades to 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick top-ups for heavy users.

Additional Features: Connectivity options on both devices include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an IR blaster for remote control functionality. Audio is delivered via dual stereo speakers, while security is managed through a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Both phones include an X-axis linear motor for haptics (0816 on GT 8 Pro) and come with IP68 and IP69 certification for superior water and dust resistance.

Conclusion: The realme GT 8 series delivers a massive leap in performance and innovation for the brand’s flagship lineup. The GT 8 caters to users looking for flagship-grade performance at an accessible price, while the GT 8 Pro targets power users and photography enthusiasts who demand the very best in mobile technology.
