Today, Vivo has officially announced the Vivo V60e 5G, expanding its V60 series lineup. The new V60e stands out with Vivo’s first-ever 200MP main camera with OIS, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo. While the device closely resembles the Vivo V60 5G in design, there are a few noticeable changes: the Zeiss branding is absent on the camera, and there’s no telephoto lens.

Priced around ₹30,000, Vivo has made it a bit tricky for consumers to choose between the V60 models, offering compelling features while keeping the lineup diverse and interesting, The Nobel Gold and Elite Purple are two options available to choose from.

I’ve received the Elite Purple variant to try out, and after using it for a few days, I can confidently say it’s a really impressive device. Since this article is based on first impressions, I won’t dive too deep into technical details just yet—but even at a glance, the V60e 5G feels solid, stylish, and capable.

In the Box: The Vivo V60e 5G comes with the quick start guide, USB cable, charger, eject tool, phone case, protective film (pre-applied), warranty card and the device itself.

The hand feel of the V60e 5G is slightly slippery due to its plastic back, whereas the standard V60 comes with a glass back that feels more premium, It seems that to keep the V60e 5G cost-effective, Vivo made a few compromises on the body materials.

The Vivo V60e 5G features a 6.77-inch (17.20 cm)quad curved AMOLED display with a 2392 × 1080 resolution. It supports capacitive multi-touch, offering a smooth and vibrant viewing experience.

Lets talk about some camera, On the rear, the device features a 200MP Ultra-Clear main camera with OIS, f/1.88 aperture, and 84° field of view using a 6P lens, accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 120° field of view, and 5P lens.

On the front, the V60e 5G sports a 50MP Eye AF group selfie camera with autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture, 92° field of view, and a 5P lens, ensuring sharp and detailed selfies.

The Vivo V60e 5G’s 200MP camera does wonders in everyday photography, and surprisingly, it’s hard to tell that the device isn’t equipped with Zeiss optics. The captures are quite impressive, delivering sharp and detailed images in most scenarios. However, in low-light conditions, the camera shows some limitations, which is notable since Vivo is usually strong in this area.

Close-up portraits can sometimes display different color tones from various angles, and while the V60e 5G has a great camera, it’s not without flaws. Colors aren’t always entirely accurate, and there are occasional imbalances in hue and saturation. Overall, it’s a capable camera for its price, but not quite the benchmark setter in photography.

The Vivo V60e 5G comes with a wide variety of camera modes to suit different shooting scenarios. On the rear, you get Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, Micro Movie, High Resolution, Panorama, Ultra HD Document, Slo-mo, Time-lapse, Supermoon, Pro, Food, Underwater Photography, and Dual View. The front camera offers Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, Micro Movie, High Resolution, and Dual View modes, making it versatile for selfies and video content.

Vivo offers India’s First AI Festival Portrait also the four season portrait, to recall Vivo V60 5G comes with india’s first wedding studio.

Packed with a robust 6500 mAh battery and lightning-fast 90 W flash charging, the vivo V60e keeps you powered up all day and ready in no time,

While we’re still putting the vivo V60e through its paces, here’s a quick takeaway for now

  • The vivo V60e 5G is solid when it comes to specs and hardware.
  • Its camera performance is strong for a ₹30K device, though not the absolute best.
  • The absence of a telephoto lens in this price range is a bit questionable.
  • If the device doesn’t receive the ORIGIN OS 6 update—which is unlikely—consider this carefully before buying.
  • Vivo’s bloatware is still present.
  • Overall, the V60e 5G is a good camera-focused phone, but it’s not designed for performance enthusiasts

A full, detailed review is coming soon. We’re yet to test the device’s durability, conduct more camera and performance tests, run benchmarks, and explore its AI features.
