The eagerly anticipated Xiaomi 16 has surfaced again with fresh details thanks to the well-known Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station. According to the latest reports, the new flagship will be powered by Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, expected to officially launch at the end of September.
Photography enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that Xiaomi 16 will sport a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup, featuring a main sensor with an impressive size of 1/1.3 inches. This is complemented by an ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro lens. Notably, the macro lens is not marked as a periscope lens, which slightly contrasts with earlier rumors suggesting a periscope design.
