POCO appears to have more smartphones planned for the Indian market before the end of 2026. According to a new leak shared by tipster Yogesh Brar, the company could launch three more devices this year, including the POCO X8, POCO X8 Power, and POCO M8x.
The leak also suggests that the POCO X8 and POCO X8 Power could make their debut in India by early September. This would give POCO another strong lineup in the mid-range smartphone segment before the company begins its 2027 F-series cycle.
POCO X8 and X8 Power India Launch Timeline
Yogesh Brar claims that both the POCO X8 and POCO X8 Power are scheduled to launch in India by early September. While POCO has not officially announced a launch date yet, the leak suggests that the two X8-series smartphones could arrive together or within a short period of each other.
The POCO X8 Power is expected to sit above the standard POCO X8 in the lineup. The leaked information also gives a clear positioning order:
- POCO X8
- POCO X8 Power
- POCO X8 Pro
This means the X8 Power could target users looking for better battery life and charging performance without moving all the way up to the Pro model.
POCO X8 Power 5G: Leaked Specifications
A leaked specifications graphic gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the POCO X8 Power 5G. The phone is shown with a massive 10,000mAh battery, making battery life one of its biggest selling points.

The 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging combination could make the X8 Power one of the most battery-focused smartphones in POCO’s upcoming lineup. The leaked material also claims a battery life of up to six years.
POCO X8 5G: Leaked Specifications
The standard POCO X8 5G is also expected to focus heavily on battery capacity while offering slightly lower specifications than the X8 Power.

Based on the leaked specifications, the X8 Power gets a noticeable upgrade over the regular X8 in terms of battery capacity, charging speed, chipset performance and selfie camera resolution.
Design and Durability
The leaked renders show both smartphones with a flat design and a rectangular camera module on the rear. The POCO X8 Power appears in yellow and black finishes, while the POCO X8 is shown in orange, light blue and black.
Both phones are also shown with extensive water and dust resistance ratings. The leaked material lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
If these specifications are accurate, durability could be another major selling point for the upcoming X8 series.
What About the POCO M8x?
The POCO M8x is also reportedly among the three remaining POCO launches planned for 2026. However, the latest leak does not reveal detailed specifications, pricing or a launch date for the M8x.
For now, the X8 series appears to be the more immediate launch, with the X8 and X8 Power reportedly arriving in India by early September.
POCO’s 2027 Plans
Interestingly, Yogesh Brar also claims that POCO’s 2027 smartphone lineup will begin with the company’s F series. This suggests that the X8 series and M8x could be among POCO’s final major smartphone launches for 2026.
With a 9,000mAh battery on the X8 and a huge 10,000mAh battery on the X8 Power, POCO seems to be preparing a lineup focused strongly on battery endurance and fast charging.
However, it is important to note that the above specifications and launch timeline are based on leaked information. POCO has not officially confirmed the X8, X8 Power or M8x specifications, pricing or launch dates at the time of writing.
