[CNMO Technology News]The latest “Monthly Tracking of the Online Retail Market of Mainland China Display” report released by RUNTO shows that in May 2025, the sales volume of the online retail market of e-sports monitors in mainland China (excluding content e-commerce platforms), reached 679,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 49.4%; sales reached 860 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44.1%.From January to May, the online market maintained an average monthly growth rate of about 40%, and the national subsidy policy became the core driving force.


E-sports monitor

From the perspective of product categories, the sales of 180Hz refresh rate in May accounted for 27%, and the sales of 240Hz products surged by more than 280% year-on-year.

In terms of brand competition landscape, AOC returned to the top of online sales with a market share of 15.5%, an increase of 2.6 percentage points from the same period last year. Its 240Hz model 24G10ZE contributed 10% of the brand’s sales. HKC ranked second with a year-on-year growth rate of over 110%, and the 240Hz hot model became the main engine of growth; SANC ranked third with a market share of 10.6%, with a year-on-year growth of 72%.

Passionategeekz noticed that among the top 10 brands, MSI, ROG and Xiaomi all achieved sales growth of more than 100%. Among them, ROG stabilizes the high-end user group through dual-mode design, professional e-sports/content creation/multi-equipment compatible product matrix, high-end market subsidy strategy and precise community operation; Xiaomi, ranked seventh, successfully attracts young people in the workplace based on radical parameter configuration and affordable pricing strategies, combined with ecological linkage and office scene penetration. Asus became the only brand that declined year-on-year, but its sub-brand ROG still maintained a rapid growth trend.
