Passionategeekz On June 17, according to 36 Kr Auto today, the assisted driving company Haomo Zhixing, which was incubated by Great Wall Motors, is experiencing senior personnel turmoil.Recently, many middle and senior management personnel have resigned。
The report quoted people familiar with the matter as saying thatZhang Kai, chairman of Haomo Zhixing, has proposed to resignwhereabouts are unknown; senior executives such as technology vice president Ai Rui and product vice president Cai Na have also left the company in April this year.
Passionategeekz searched for public information and learned that Haomo Zhixing was established in November 2019 and was formerly the intelligent driving business branch of Great Wall Motors. Haomo Zhixing’s core business focuses on two areas: passenger car assisted driving and terminal logistics low-speed unmanned driving.
Zhang Kai once sent an internal message in February this year to disclose the company’s latest developments and future plans.. In his internal letter, he said that Haomo Zhixing ushered in a number of positive progress at the beginning of 2025:
-
1. Get customer satisfaction recognition and forge ahead;
-
2. Financing is progressing smoothly and the future is promising;
-
3. Win new orders in the commercial vehicle field and take a step forward;
-
4. The little demon camel has landed in more than ten cities one after another, and received many large orders around the Spring Festival.
However, an employee told 36Kr Automobile thatThe company’s two main businesses have made little progress in commercialization. In the passenger car assisted driving business, Haomo Zhixing only has two models of Hyundai, which mainly provides functions such as memory driving and parking, and is scheduled to be delivered in August this year, but “the development of functions is slow, and it is still questionable whether it can be delivered as scheduled.”
“The sales target of low-speed unmanned vehicles is only more than 50 units this year. The company neither develops new models nor plans to expand sales, and is basically in a state of clearing inventory.” An employee revealed.
As the commercialization progress is not smooth, some insiders believe that the company may face the same fate as Chery’s assisted driving subsidiary, Dazhuo Intelligent, was merged into the Group Research Institute in the future.
