Reliance Jio has launched its latest innovation in the IoT category with the introduction of the JioFind Series, comprising JioFind and JioFind Pro. These wireless 4G GPS trackers are designed for real-time monitoring of vehicles, luggage, school bags, and other valuables, ensuring safety and convenience with nationwide coverage.
The JioFind series works seamlessly across India, including highways and remote areas, maintaining connectivity even when crossing state borders. Leveraging Jio’s number-sharing technology, the trackers extend the existing Jio smartphone SIM, eliminating the need for an additional mobile plan.
JioFind is equipped with a 1100mAh battery that lasts up to 3–4 days, making it suitable for everyday use such as tracking school bags, vehicles, and personal belongings. On the other hand, JioFind Pro comes with a massive 10000mAh battery, delivering up to 30 days of usage, perfect for extended monitoring without frequent recharging. The Pro version also includes a magnetic mount for easy placement.
Both devices are supported through the JioThings app, which brings several smart features: Real-Time Tracking: Monitor the exact location of the device anywhere in India.
Voice Monitoring: Listen to the ambient sound remotely and record short audio clips for added security.
Geofencing Alerts: Create up to five safe zones and receive instant notifications when the device enters or exits these areas, along with overspeeding and low battery alerts.
Another highlight is the Number Sharing Plan, which allows up to five JioFind devices to be linked with a single Jio number, using the same data plan. The devices, however, work exclusively with Jio SIM cards included in the package.
