POCO has finally confirmed what many enthusiasts had been anticipating. After a series of cryptic teasers from POCO Hong Kong, the brand has officially announced that the much-awaited POCO F8 series will be making its global debut on 26 November 2025. The global launch event is set to take place in Bali, Indonesia at 16:00 GMT+8, marking the arrival of what POCO describes as a new era of “UltraPower Ascended.”
According to POCO Global, the upcoming POCO F8 lineup will highlight a leap in performance and refinement, reinforcing the brand’s push toward ultra-flagship territory. The teaser message — “From power to perfection, it’s time to ascend” — hints strongly at a major performance-centric release.
The series is expected to include two models: the POCO F8 Pro and the POCO F8 Ultra. Reports suggest that these devices will be rebranded variants of the recently launched Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max from China. However, early insights indicate that the POCO versions may feature slightly smaller batteries compared to their Redmi counterparts.
Both smartphones have also surfaced across multiple certification platforms. The POCO F8 Pro (model number 2510DPC44G) and POCO F8 Ultra (25102PCBEG) were recently spotted on the Geekbench database. Benchmark listings confirm that the F8 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the higher-tier F8 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Both devices are listed with Android 16 and a 16GB RAM configuration, signaling top-end performance suitable for power users and gamers.
With POCO positioning the F8 lineup as its next major flagship release, expectations are high for aggressive pricing, enhanced performance, and premium features. More details about the devices, including complete specifications, availability, and regional rollouts, are expected as the launch date approaches.
