Honor X9d 5G with Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, 8300mAh Battery, and 108MP Camera Launched in Malaysia – Pre-Orders Open

Honor has officially unveiled the Honor X9d 5G in Malaysia, presenting it as a tweaked version of the Honor X70 that was launched earlier in China. The smartphone is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, offering powerful hardware, premium design, and attractive early-bird benefits for customers.

The Honor X9d 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset coupled with the Adreno 810 GPU. It runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 and comes in two configurations — 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. With the Honor RAM Turbo technology, the device allows expansion of RAM up to 24GB (12GB physical + 12GB virtual).

On the front, the phone boasts a 6.79-inch AMOLED display featuring a 2640 × 1200 resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1.07 billion colors, 3840Hz ultra-high frequency dimming, and a peak brightness of up to 6000 nits. The panel is protected by aluminosilicate glass for enhanced durability.

In terms of optics, the device houses a 108MP dual rear camera system with 4K video recording, OIS stabilization, and 10x digital zoom, while the 16MP front camera sits inside a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout.

Powering the smartphone is a massive 8300mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging and reverse wired charging. Other features include 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers with Honor Sound 7.3, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance, as well as SGS triple resistance certification for added durability.

The Honor X9d 5G is available in Reddish Brown, Forest Green, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black color variants. In Malaysia, the 12GB(+12GB)/256GB model is priced at MYR 1,499, while the 12GB(+12GB)/512GB variant costs MYR 1,699.

Pre-orders are live from September 24 to October 9, 2025, through Honor’s official website and retail partners including Lazada, Shopee, Harvey Norman, Senheng, SenQ, Maxis, UR, and TikTok Shop. As part of the pre-order package, customers will receive gifts worth MYR 1,146, which include an Honor Pad X7, one-year extended warranty, 365-day crack protection, and liquid damage coverage. Additionally, customers who leave reviews before October 31 will stand a chance to win a premium carry-on suitcase worth MYR 599.
