According to Passionategeekz, Xiaopeng G7 is Xiaopeng’s first self-developed chip model and the first AR-HUD model. It will be equipped with up to 3 Turing AI chips, with computing power equivalent to 9 Orin-X chips, with effective computing power greater than 2200TOPS, 3 to 28 times that of other flagships in the industry; the two chips are located on the left side of the trunk, focusing on autonomous driving, one is placed under the passenger seat, responsible for vehicle decision-making and voice system; the first VLA-OL+VLM dual architecture can be created, and complex scenario decisions can be completed without relying on the cloud, including: actively identifying ambulances and giving in, autonomous avoidance of collapsed roads, and intelligent lane-changing game on congested roads.

The light-chasing panoramic head-up display function of Xiaopeng G7 can draw the navigation route on the real road, solving the three major pain points of the industry’s inability to see clearly, not being dizzy and not being blocked. The panoramic head-up display of light chase can cover six high-frequency scenarios, including: steering, regular forwarding, acceleration and deceleration, traffic light start and stop, lane change waiting and lane change overtaking. It can early warning of potential risks such as lane change in front of the car and pedestrian ghost probes. In addition, according to official reports, it also has industry-leading AR assisted driving, industry-first full-scene AR lane-level navigation, and industry-wide most complete AR safety assistance.

According to the official information, in addition to the above major technologies, Xiaopeng G7 also has four world-leading technologies, namely: 702km CLTC ultra-long battery life, 800V high-voltage SiC silicon carbide platform, 5C supercharged AI battery and DCC intelligent variable damping shock absorber.
