[CNMO Technology News]According to the latest data from Canalys, in the first quarter of 2025, the global TWS (true wireless headphones) market shipments increased by 18% year-on-year to 78 million units, setting a record high growth rate since 2021.
From the perspective of brands, Apple continues to hold a leading position in the global TWS market with a market share of 23%; Xiaomi jumped to second place in the world, with shipments up 63% year-on-year, exceeding 9 million units for the first time, and its market share hit a historical high of 12%. Samsung (including a subsidiary of Harman) ranked third with a market share of 7%; Huawei and Indian brand boAt ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, accounting for 6% and 5% of the market share.
Judging from the ranking of global key TWS market manufacturers, in the mainland Chinese market, Xiaomi’s shipments increased by 44% year-on-year, ranking first with 22% market share; Huawei ranked second with 15% market share; Apple ranked third with 12% market share; Edifier and OPPO ranked fourth and fifth respectively, the former occupy 9% market share, and the latter’s shipments increased by 76% year-on-year, obtaining 6% market share.
In the Mexican market, Xiaomi’s shipments rose 118% year-on-year, winning first with a market share of 21%; Apple ranked second with a market share of 14%; Samsung ranked third with a market share of 11%; Skullcandy and Sony ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
In the Thai market, Xiaomi’s shipments increased by 89% year-on-year, ranking first with a market share of 22%; Apple ranks second with a market share of 16%; Samsung ranks third with a market share of 7%; Huawei’s shipments increased by 221% year-on-year, ranking fourth with a market share of 7%; Edifier ranks fifth.
