[CNMO Technology News]On June 23, Xiaomi officially launched the HyperOS 2.2 system update in overseas markets, covering multiple devices. This version has been the first to push to HyperOS Beta test users in the European market, and will gradually expand to more regions in the next few weeks and months.
According to the source of “Xiaomi Time”, this HyperOS 2.2 upgrade will be adapted to eight Xiaomi’s devices, including Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G (version number: 2.0.201.0.VNOEUXM), Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (2.0.202.0.VOOEUXM), POCO X7 Pro (2.0.201.0.VOJEUXM), Xiaomi 14T Pro (2.0.203.0.VNNEUXM), Xiaomi 15 (2.0.201.0.VOCEUXM), Xiaomi 15 Ultra (2.0.202.0.VOAEUXM), Redmi Note 13 (2.0.201.0.VNHEUXM), Redmi 13/POCO M6 (2.0.201.0.VNTEUXM), and Redmi Pad Pro 5G (2.0.201.0.VFSEUXM).
Currently, HyperOS 2.2 is still in the beta testing stage, and only users who register for the test plan will experience it first. The official suggests that ordinary users wait for subsequent stable versions to get a more mature user experience.
This update covers a number of system optimizations and new features. HyperOS 2.2 improves animation response speed and optimizes landscape application adaptation, improves possible screen flickering and visual interference problems when opening or closing applications, and fixes gesture operation failures and display abnormalities. The camera application interface has been redesigned, the menus and settings are simpler, and watermark options for customizable locations have been added.
In addition, HyperOS 2.2 introduces the “Star Network Communication” function, which supports voice calls without network connections. The system icons and wallpapers have also been visually adjusted, including enhanced blur effect of desktop wallpaper, special effects of lock screen wallpaper lenses, and improving the standard recognition of the image through shadows.
