[CNMO Technology News]According to foreign media reports, Xiaomi’s official channel has confirmed that the new generation of operating system HyperOS 3 (Chinese is The Paper OS 3) will officially land in the Chinese market in September this year. Its international version is expected to be pushed in stages from October to November, continuing Xiaomi’s usual update rhythm. The system is deeply customized based on Android 16, and the core innovation focuses on the all-round upgrade of dynamic wallpaper technology.
Passionategeekz learned that a highlight of this upgrade is the dynamic wallpaper system that supports AI personalized recommendations. The system automatically matches visual themes through machine learning analysis of user preferences. This technology simultaneously realizes 4K ultra-clear display and environmental adaptive animation, and can intelligently adjust the screen performance according to the light, time and other conditions in which the device is located. What is more breakthrough is the addition of touch interaction functions, where users can change the dynamic effects of wallpapers in real time by clicking and sliding the screen. The system’s underlying layer also optimizes the battery scheduling strategy for this function.
Sources confirmed that Chinese users will be the first to experience the full version of the feature in September, and the international version push will follow the flagship priority principle: the first batch of adaptive models include Xiaomi 16 series (pre-installed and out-of-factory), Xiaomi 15 and 14 series flagships, and some REDMI Redmi and POCO high-end models are also on the first wave list. According to the previous update pace, advanced features such as live wallpaper will be gradually released to qualified devices within a few weeks after release.
Analysis pointed out that the launch of HyperOS 3 will strengthen Xiaomi’s technical voice in the high-end market and form an ecological synergy effect with flagship products such as MIX Flip that will be mass-produced.
