[CNMO Technology News]Xiaomi officially announced recently that the new small folding screen flagship phone – Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will be officially released at 7 pm on June 26, 2025. As Xiaomi’s new generation of folding screen products, the phone has significantly upgraded in terms of appearance design, configuration specifications and user experience.

According to official information, Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is equipped with a 4.01-inch multi-function large external screen, using M9 luminescent material, and supports peak brightness of multiple scenes up to 3200nits. This screen is not only suitable for more than 500 high-frequency applications, but has also been reconstructed in terms of system interactive experience, supporting desktop app editing, multi-task card operation and album browsing functions, achieving a consistent user experience between the inner and outer screens.

In terms of performance, Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition chip, with a built-in 5165mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, with a battery energy density of up to 843Wh/L, and a daily comprehensive battery life capacity of 18%. In addition, the phone also supports 50W wireless fast charging and is equipped with a dual VC three-dimensional cooling system, which takes into account high-performance output and stable operation.

In terms of body structure, Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 adopts a new generation of “keel rotating shaft” and innovatively introduces a “three-stage connecting rod + four-floating plate” structure, paired with 6.86-inch ultra-strength flexible glass with a thickness of only 50μm, and excellent crease performance. Official data shows that after 200,000 folding tests, the average depth of the screen crease is less than 50μm, about half the thickness of A4 paper.

In terms of appearance design, the entire Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 machine is only 7.57mm thick and weighs about 199 grams. It is equipped with a three-sided deep micro-curved screen and a metal matte midframe, which takes into account both lightness, portability and excellent feel.
