Xiaomi Xuan Ring O1

Looking back at Xiaomi’s chip research and development path, Xuanjie chips have long attracted much attention. As the first flagship SoC chip independently developed and designed by Xiaomi, Xuanjie O1 carries Xiaomi’s determination to work hard in the chip field. Since Xiaomi released the Xuanjie O1 and Xuanjie T1 chips in May this year, people are full of expectations for Xiaomi’s next move in the chip field, and the application of multiple XRING trademarks is undoubtedly another key step for Xiaomi in chip layout.

According to official data, Xuanjie O1 is built using TSMC’s 3nm process. In terms of CPU, Xiaomi Xuanjie O1 chip adopts a four-cluster ten core design, including two super-large cores with a main frequency of 3.9GHz, four performance cores with a main frequency of 3.4GHz, two 1.9GHz energy-efficient cores and two 1.8GHz small cores. There is news from the Internet that Xuanjie O2 has been leaked and may use TSMC N3P process. There is no other detailed information at the moment.

According to Passionategeekz, the international classification of the trademark applied for this time points to scientific instruments, which may indicate that Xiaomi has a broader plan in the application scenarios of chip technology. It is worth mentioning that in addition to Xuanjie O2 chips, Xiaomi may also bring automotive-grade chips next year.
