Fans can experience the Match Chat feature through Wimbledon App and official websites, using preset prompt words (prompts) or asking questions independently, for example, “Who converted more break points in the game?” or “Who performed better in the game?”. The system will provide Real-time feedback generated by AIincluding game analysis and insight, bringing fans a richer viewing experience.
The Match Chat function is built on the watsonx Orchestrate platform and introduces AI technologies such as AI agents and IBM Granite. The above models have been trained in Wimbledon editing style and tennis language. Fans can also use the Match Chat feature on pages of some important matches after the game via IBM Slamtracker, the Digital Event Center.
The enhanced “Likelihood to Win” prediction tool allows comprehensive AI analysis and generate predictions based on player data, expert opinions and game trends. This tool uses IBM technology including Red Hat Openshift to ensure developers build, deploy and scale applications in multi-cloud environments.
Fans can experience the above and other functions through IBM Slamtracker; the IBM Slamtracker module has been fully launched on Wimbledon App and official website.
