In a remarkable turn of events, the AnTuTu benchmark rankings for April 2025 were entirely monopolized by just two smartphone giants: Vivo and OPPO. While both brands shared the list, Vivo clearly took the upper hand, occupying the top four positions — a feat that underscores its growing dominance in the flagship smartphone space.

Topping the chart was the Vivo X200 Ultra, followed by the X200s, X200 Pro, and iQOO 13, showcasing Vivo’s strong engineering and performance optimization. The iQOO Neo 10 Pro also made a surprise appearance at ninth place, further highlighting the brand’s comprehensive grip on performance metrics.

OPPO, along with its OnePlus sub-brand, filled the rest of the list with entries like the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s+, OnePlus 13T, OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, and OnePlus 13. While competitive, OPPO’s flagships couldn’t match the performance consistency exhibited by Vivo’s latest offerings.
Interestingly, the once-undisputed Snapdragon 8 Elite still powers most devices in the ranking, but its dominance appears to be softening. Four out of the ten top phones were powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 and 9400+ chipsets, showing MediaTek’s growing presence in the premium market.
Another noteworthy trend is the standardization of high-end specs. Nine out of the ten listed devices sport 1TB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM, signaling a shift in consumer expectations and manufacturer priorities in the ultra-premium tier.
While benchmark scores are often theoretical, the latest AnTuTu list reveals meaningful insights about real-world hardware trends and the tightening competition in the flagship segment. In April 2025, the scoreboard may read Vivo: 5, OPPO: 5 — but in terms of performance hierarchy, it’s clear who’s currently on top.
