[CNMO Technology News]Recently, a set of spy photos of the new Xiaopeng P7 interior were exposed on the Internet. The interior of the new car continues the family’s latest design language. The purple looks very high-end, and the classic two-screen design has been cancelled. It is reported that the new P7 is expected to be officially launched in the second half of the year.
In terms of interior layout, spy photos show that the new Xiaopeng P7 uses a flat-bottom and multi-function steering wheel, matching a large-size floating central control screen. The main driver’s instrument adopts a slender strip design, which adds a bit of racing flavor. In terms of configuration, the front dual mobile phone wireless charging area (tilt design), integrated sports seats (with leg support), and the gear shifting mechanism still adopts a gear-mounted design.
According to Passionategeekz, Xiaopeng Motors has previously released the appearance design drawings of the new P7 in advance. Its appearance is integrated into the new design language while retaining the family characteristics. The front face adopts a long strip light group shape, retaining the iconic through-type daytime running light strip, and the overall lines are sharp and dynamic. The side of the body presents a classic outline of the coupe model, equipped with hidden door handles and frameless windows, the three-dimensional size reaches 5017/1970/1427mm, and the wheelbase is extended to 3008mm. The rear of the car adopts a through-type taillight group that echoes the front face, and is equipped with an active lifting tail wing to enhance the sporty temperament.
In terms of core technology, the new Xiaopeng P7 will be equipped with Xiaopeng Turing AI chip, equipped with pure visual intelligent assisted driving system, and supports urban NGP and high-speed NGP functions. The power system is provided with single-motor rear-drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive versions, with the maximum power of the rear-drive version of the motor being 270kW, and the maximum power of the front/rear motor of the four-wheel drive version is 167kW and 270kW respectively.
